Ziggy Stardust - The Motion Picture è un album live di David Bowie distribuito nel 1983, colonna sonora del film-documentario Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. Il concerto da cui è tratto è stato registrato il 3 luglio 1973; l'album verrà pubblicato ben dieci anni dopo, ma nel frattempo verranno distribuiti numerosi bootleg. L'album documenta l'ultimo show in cui Bowie impersonerà la figura di Ziggy Stardust; poco prima dell'ultima traccia infatti affermerà:

(EN) « Not only is it the last show of the tour, but it's the last show that we'll ever do. Thank you. »

(IT) « Questo non è soltanto l'ultimo show del tour, ma sarà il nostro ultimo show in assoluto. Grazie. »

Ziggy Stardust - The Motion Picture è stato distribuito per la prima volta nel 1983 come doppio LP dalla RCA Records, accompagnato dall'uscita del singolo White Light/White Heat. L'album è stato successivamente redistribuito in versione CD in due versioni: la prima nel 1992 dalla Rykodisc, la seconda nel 2003 dalla EMI/Virgin (contenente le versioni complete di alcune tracce precedentemente tagliate, interviste ed introduzioni dei musicisti). L'album rappresenta la colonna sonora del film Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, il concerto registrato nel 1973 da D. A. Pennebaker.

Tutte le canzoni sono state scritte da David Bowie, tranne quando indicato.
