Poul Anderson

Poul William Anderson (Bristol, 25 novembre 1926 – Orinda, 31 luglio 2001) è stato uno scrittore statunitense, autore di romanzi di fantascienza.

Alcuni dei suoi primi racconti sono stati pubblicati con gli pseudonimi A. A. Craig,Michael Karageorge e Winston P. Sanders. Anderson è stato inoltre autore di libri fantasy, come ad esempio la serie King of Ys.

Ha conseguito una laurea in fisica all'università del Minnesota nel 1948.

Ha sposato Karen Kruse nel 1953.

È stato il sesto presidente dell'associazione degli scrittori statunitensi di fantasy e fantascienza, a partire dal 1972.
