NHL è una serie di videogiochi di simulazione dell'hockey sul ghiaccio sviluppata da EA Canada e prodotta annualmente dalla Electronic Arts con il marchio EA Sports. La serie viene pubblicata sotto le licenze della National Hockey League e della National Hockey League Players Association.

- ‡Originariamente fu scelto Joe Thornton, ma la EA lo sostituì con Dany Heatley dopo che Thornton fu accusato di aver assalito due poliziotti. La copertina di Thornton non venne mai prodotta. Dopo l'avvio della stagione 2003-2004, Heatley fu coinvolto in un incidente stradale che uccise Dan Snyder, perciò la EA modificò le copertine con una raffigurante Joe Sakic.[2]
