Botteghi, pseudonimo di Matteo Botteghi (Bologna, 13 Marzo 1985),  è un Disk Jockey e produttore discografico italiano.

Attività Musicale

Gli esordi

Botteghi esordisce in discoteca nel 1999 a la Corte degli Angeli, locale della provincia di Bologna. Qua si esibisce come DJ Resident fino al 2005, anno dell’approdo al Caino di Milano Marittima.

Gli anni 2010

Botteghi pubblica il suo singolo d’esordio “For The Wolrd” nel 2011 insieme ad altri remix per alcune etichette italiane tra cui Energy, d:vision e Time.

Nel 2012 produce il suo secondo singolo “Another Day” e la cover ufficiale di “Thrift Shop” di Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, mentre nel 2013 è la volta “Shake Down”, il suo quarto singolo.

Nel 2015 pubblica 2 produzioni, una con lo pseudonimo 2MEN2DOGS e una in collaborazione con Ema Stokholma. Lo stesso anno Botteghi esordisce al Cocorico di Riccione diventando DJ Resident della Piramide e affiancando David Guetta e Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike all’Aquafan di Riccione e Gigi D’Agostino nel progetto “Cocorico On The Beach” al Mojito Beach. Dal 2015 condivide la consolle con Axwell, Don Diablo, Timmy Trumpet, Carnage, Nervo, Garmiani, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Jax Jones, Tujamo, David Morales, Frankie Knuckles, Albertino, Benny Benassi, VINAI, Merk & Kremont. Nello stesso periodo, Botteghi si esibisce all’Unipol Arena di Bologna, il Number One di Brescia, l’Altromondo Studios e la Molo Street Parade di Rimini, il Peter Pan e la Villa delle Rose di Riccione, il Riobo di Gallipoli e lo Spazio 900 di Roma.

Nel 2016 produce “Let It Rock” il suo primo singolo su etichetta Olandese “Housepital” assieme a Luciano Barletta.

Nel 2017 Botteghi si esibisce al Nameless Music Festival e viene ingaggiato come DJ Resident del Samsara Beach di Riccione. Lo stesso anno remixa il singolo “Sing It Loud” per Mario Fargetta e Sagi Rei assieme a Iacopo Misuri, in arte Jamis, produce “Ex” assieme ad Alberto Remondini per m2o e Luciano Barletta, “We Just Don’t Give A F**k” con lo pseudonimo Barber Shop, “Vape Reloaded” assieme ad Andy Love e la cover “Que Se Sepa” assieme a Davide Riva, in arte Rivaz.

Nel 2018 escono i remix ufficiali della Colombiana “Tembeleke” per Crazy Design & Liro Shaq, di “Canta Canta” per Shorty di Radio Deejay e di “Blow It” per Federico Scavo

Nel 2019 produce il singolo “Que Rico” assieme a Rivaz ed escono i remix ufficiali per Klaas & Londonbeat di “I’ve Been Thinking About You”, “Loved Me Once” e “Good Vibes” per DJ Antoine, “You Let Me Walk Alone” per Michael Schulte, che ha ottenuto disco d’oro in Belgio e Olanda, “La Vida Es Un Carnaval” per il progetto Musique Boutique, “La Vie” per DJ Ross, “Shine On” per il progetto R.I.O. e  “Until The End Of Summer” per Benny Benassi su Ultra Records. Lo stesso anno suona per la prima volta a Nimega e viene inserito nella line-up dell’Amsterdam Dance Event.
