I Fall sono un gruppo post-punk[1] inglese formatosi a Prestwich nel 1976. La band ha avuto negli anni innumerevoli cambi di formazione, e l'unico componente stabile dalla sua fondazione è il frontman Mark E. Smith[1].

Inizialmente associato con il movimento punk rock, il gruppo è passato nella sua carriera attraverso molti generi diversi. La musica dei Fall è spesso caratterizzata da graffianti suoni di chitarra elettrica e da parti vocali incomprensibili e talvolta parlate piuttosto che cantate[1]. La band ha pubblicato ben 28 album di studio fino al 2010, e 89 album totali comprendendo live e raccolte.
