Sons of the Forest è un videogioco survival horror sviluppato da Endnight Games e pubblicato da Newnight. È il sequel del videogioco del 2014 The Forest ed è stato pubblicato il 23 febbraio 2023 tramite accesso anticipato per Microsoft Windows[1] [2][3][4][5][6]. Attualmente però non esiste una data di uscita per le console.
Sviluppo[modifica | modifica wikitesto]
La pubblicazione di Sons of the Forest è stata rimandata due volte. Inizialmente il lancio era previsto per maggio 2022, ma in un tweet pubblicato il 25 marzo 2022, gli sviluppatori di Endnight Games annunciano un primo ritardo della pubblicazione ad ottobre 2022[7]. In un ulteriore tweet pubblicato il 31 agosto 2022, viene annunciato un ulteriore ritardo della consegna di Sons of the Forest a febbraio 2023[8], necessario secondo gli sviluppatori per perfezionare il gioco prima del lancio. Il 23 febbraio 2023 viene lanciato con accesso anticipato.
