Thierry Deleruyelle
Thierry Deleruyelle (Arras, 9 agosto 1983) è una compositore, direttore d'orchestra e percussionista francese.
Biografia[modifica | modifica wikitesto]
Thierry Deleruyelle ha iniziato molto giovane lo studio delle percussioni, per poi, quasi da subito, dedicarsi alla composizione. All'età di 19 anni, è stato ammesso al Conservatorio Nazionale Superiore di Musica di Parigi dove ha ottenuto i diplomi di Percussioni, Armonia, Contrappunto e Fuga. Durante i suoi studi nella capitale francese, ha avuto l'opportunità di confrontarsi con un gran numero di artisti e compositori. Si è esibito anche come percussionista aggiuntivo nelle orchestre sinfoniche parigine e nella National Police Orchestra dove è entrato nel 2008[1].
Compone per differenti gruppi di musica da camera o per strumento solista, ma è l'Orchestra il medium che ama di più e, in modo particolare, l'Orchestra di Fiati e la Brass Band.
Nel 2007, è stato contattato da Jan De Haan, compositore e fondatore delle edizioni De Haske, per un incontro presso la sede editoriale di Heerenveen, nei Paesi Bassi. A seguito di questo colloquio, le opere di Thierry Deleruyelle sono state pubblicate e distribuite dalla De Haske Publications, partner del leader mondiale dell'editoria musicale, Hal Leonard.[1][2][3].

Thierry Deleruyelle ha ricevuto nel 2015 la commissione per il brano imposto al concorso Europeo di Brass Band di Lille nel 2016[7], organizzato dalla European Brass Band Association. Fraternity è il suo primo importante lavoro composto per questo ensemble, divenuto ben presto un successo mondiale. Thierry Deleruyelle diventa così il primo compositore francese a scrivere un brano d’obbligo per il concorso europeo di Brass Band e, successivamente, anche per il British Open del 2017.[8]

Orchestre Voltige[modifica | modifica wikitesto]
Nel 2009, Thierry Deleruyelle ha creato insieme a David Bulcourt e Olivier Lourdel, l'Orchestre Voltige. Questa Orchestra di Fiati raccoglie musicisti di alto livello, sia professionisti che non professionisti, con lo scopo di eseguire e far conoscere il repertorio originale per Orchestra di Fiati[19]. L’Orchestre Voltige si esibisce regolarmente in concerti di gala o in particolari occasioni come, ad esempio, il meeting internazionale di Corni a Sallaumines nel 2016[20], il congresso Sassofono di ASAX nel 2019[21], e al festival Saint Riquier[22] nel 2019 e in molte altre importanti occasioni.
L’Orchestre Voltige, sotto la direzione di Thierry Deleruyelle, ha anche realizzato numerose registrazioni, in particolare per le edizioni Hal Leonard Europe. Ha avuto, in tal modo, l’onore e l’occasione di interpretare e incidere le nuove creazioni di compositori di fama mondiale del calibro di Philip Sparke, Thomas Doss, Jacob De Haan, Otto M. Schwartz, Jan De Haan, Bert Appermont ecc.
