Gli A Place to Bury Strangers sono una band di New York composta da Olivier Ackermann (chitarra e voce), Jay Space (batteria) e dal neozelandese Dion Lunadon (basso). La band ha un suono psichedelico, influenzato dal noise e da un certo sound tipico degli eighties.

Carriera

Conseguentemente alla pubblicazione di vari demo ed EP, gli A Place To Bury Strangers vengono indicati come una delle migliori band alternative di New York da rinomati giornali, come il The Washington Post ed il New York Times.

Nel 2007 è stato pubblicato il loro omonimo album d'esordio, per l'etichetta Killer Pimp, seguito da concerti promozionali insieme a band importanti quali The Jesus and Mary Chain, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club e Nine Inch Nails.
