Enciclopedicità dubbia

Ciao L'honorable. Ho visto che hai scritto o modificato la voce Gerald Loxley. Grazie per aver contribuito a Wikipedia.

Per quella voce o per una sua sezione, tuttavia, è stato espresso un dubbio di enciclopedicità, il testo relativo potrebbe perciò essere cancellato poiché non adatto agli standard di Wikipedia.

If you want a page to be deleted you have to use Template:Cancella subito, if you just empty the content it could be considered as vandalism. By the way, do you speak at least a little bit of italian? Beacause pages like this suggests that you could be using automatic translator. In this case there could be a problem. Let me know. Hi there, I can speak a little bit of Italian, but would prefer to liaise in French or Spanish if need be. I based my page creation of Henry Booth, I conte di Warrington on previous examples, so presumably they are no good either? Could you perhaps highlight one to follow? PS. most importantly, perhaps you could see to it that the article title of Conte di Dwyfor is corrected to Conte Lloyd-George di Dwyfor? (Earl of Dwyfor does not exist..)

I'm checking your contributions by chronological order. I'm not very into the matter so I've a few questions for you:

• Gerald Loxley: durante la Prima guerra mondiale assunse Loxley al comando dell'informazione militare a Parigi: "who" assunse Loxley?

  poi Maggiore della Royal Air Force means that later Loxley became "Maggiore della Royal Air Force"?

• Arturo Duque Villegas: he's been Amministratore apostolico di Ibagué just in the year 1950?

  «una leggenda vivente della chiesa della storia della chiesa latinoamericana» I can't understand the meaning of this sentence. Furthermore I do not find that part in the external link.

[@ Ripepette] : first of let me thank you for taking the time to help improve my contributions - for this I am most grateful. In the case of Major Loxley my apologies but clearly assunse is not the right word; it should read "in 1916 (during WWI) he was appointed chief advisor of aircraft production in Paris". What it doesn't say but you might find of interest is that with aircraft technology developing quickly for military use this was a highly important (& secretive) role which helped very much in the Allied war effort... The other point you make is correct about him later becoming a Major in the Royal Air Force - to begin with the airforce was split between the British Army and the Royal Navy until it became a separate military service. Perhaps the article could also say that after the Great War he served as a diplomat for the United Nations. So far as Archbishop Duque y Villegas is concerned, this should be corrected to say that he was "a highly valued member of the Roman Curia in Colombia" (for instance, he played a central role in organising the first ever papal visit to South America - by Pope Paul VI - in 1968). And very well spotted, the article should also state that he was "Amministratore apostolico di Ibagué" from 1950 until 1957.
