AFL-CIO

L' American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations, indicata comunemente come AFL–CIO, è la più grande centrale sindacale degli Stati Uniti formata da 56 sindacati nazionali ed internazionali. L'AFL-CIO nacque il 4 dicembre 1955 dalla fusione fra l'American Federation of Labor (AFL) e il Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO).
