I am trying to create an article here on Italiano Wikipedia. I only know a little Italian, so I used an automatic translator. Now the article is in danger of being erased. I do not know what to do. I have looked at other Italian biographical articles, and they do not seem to be consistent in format. Is there any way you can help me, please. If you do not have the time to look at it yourself, perhaps you can direct me to someone else. My email address is rskellner AT cox DOT net. I did go back through the article and I added several Wiki-links. Perhaps that will help. But the grammar and word choices are quite bad, I am sure. Thank you, Scott. (Rskellner)

Don't worry, your article will not be deleted, I will try to translate it in a better Italian. The only thing you should do is trying to make other articles link with this, because now the page has no links entering. Thank you. ҒДBIO7 ***ITA*** 10:56, 16 gen 2007 (CET)[rispondi]

This "orfano" message is now on the page. What can I do to improve the link situation? I normally don't feel so lost. --Rskellner 19:28, 16 gen 2007 (CET)[rispondi]

To improve the situation, you should put a link connecting with this article in other voices of wikipedia (or you could suggest me where I can do so), because now there is no link entering. I have cancelled the "orfano template" since there are pages linking to the voice However, the things you wrote have been cancelled because they were written with an automatic translater, a thing not accepted in this wikipedia; there are however some users that are writing it in a better Italian. The voice will not be erased.

The "orfano" box and the other one are not negative ones: they only say that the article is under translation and that the article should be connected to other ones.
Since you say you know Italian not so well, I suggest you not to edit articles, neither to use automatic translaters, but to suggest me what changes I should make. However I think that adding links at the bottom of a page without a logic connection, is not a useful thing.. Greetings!
  • I cancelled the "orfano" template you put in this page because otherwise you would be signed among the pages without links entering.

Fabio: Thank you for responding so completely, and thank you for helping me with the article. I will do as you suggest and refrain from adding any other links. Do you need me to send you by email the paragraphs that have been erased from the article, or can you get them from the French or German or English articles on Wikipedia about my grandfather? There is now even a Simple English Wikipedia page for Friedrich Kellner. Please let me know if there is anything at all that I can do. I do not usually feel so helpless. And to think, my favorite language is Italian. I studied Italian in college, but that was many years ago in 1969. Once more, thank you. And I thank everyone else who can find the time to help. Don't worry, (almost) all the photos can be taken from the other versions of wikipedia! Just one thing...you should answer on the page of the user you are writing to, otherwise your answer cannot always be read! bye! ҒДBIO7 ***ITA*** 16:31, 19 gen 2007 (CET)[rispondi]

User:Cloj it is work to your page for improve the quality of this article. --Fabexplosive L'admin col botto 19:58, 16 gen 2007 (CET)[rispondi]

Thank you. I have just left a message of thanks for Cloj on her user page, and I told her that I have added a few extra categories to the Friedrich Kellner article. And now Personalità legate a Magonza links to the article. Do you know when the orfano message box, and the other negative message boxes will be removed? I must admit that they have me quite worried. Scott --Rskellner 20:18, 16 gen 2007 (CET)[rispondi]
Don't worry, your article was only without any internal reference. Now it's well adjusted (I've added a new entry in Italian Wikipedia, I don't remember where). So you can work without any problem. Bye. --Cloj 16:26, 18 gen 2007 (CET)[rispondi]
