Not a directory listing, nor a place for conflict of interest editing

Hello,

I'm the son of the mayor of Torregrotta, we created the site https://www.torregrotta.net to promote the territory and the commerce of the town and to give official informations of Covid-19 to the citizens, I added the site in the site links of https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torregrotta (and of other wikipedia pages) and I noticed that you removed the address https://www.torregrotta.net/ from the link list for spam.

What is wrong with the site?

The Wikipedias are not a directory listing of sites, we are encyclopaedia. I would suggest that you read pages like Wikipedia:Collegamenti esterni to get specific information. While I am at it, we also are not that enchanted with conflict of interest editing, and you can find some guidance at Wikipedia:Contenuti promozionali o celebrativi. Thanks for your follow-up emails. That the site that you link is ad-free doesn't put it into or out of scope. Remember this is an encyclopedia. If you are focusing on the town as something related to tourism or visitation, then it sounds like this would be something for Wikivoyage: => voy:it:Torregrotta is a page that could more than likely have some love and attention.
