È attualmente il cantante della rock band americana dei Journey[1] dopo essere diventato popolare su Internet attraverso i filmati su YouTube delle cover registrate con il suo precedente gruppo, The Zoo.
Dotato di una notevole estensione vocale, il suo stile di canto è influenzato da maestri quali Steve Perry (Journey), John Farnham (Little River Band), Freddie Mercury (Queen), Klaus Meine (Scorpions), Sting (The Police), Survivor, Heart, The Beatles, Van Halen, Aerosmith, U2, Warrant, Deep Purple, ed altre bands del genere.[2]
