Hi! You can continue the discussion in english if the others understand. Otherwise, we have here strict rules about usernames (see WP:NUI), and generally, when an user has a CoI, it uses the company username as well. [@ Ruthven] Hi, and thanks for replying. I would attempt in Italian, but it would just be an imperfect translation from Google!

The user Creartlab created the article about a band, Subliminal Fear, on both Italian and English Wikipedia. I noticed that their username is the same as a business, http://www.creartlab.it/. Also, on the band's website, 'creartlab' is credited as an author http://www.subliminalfear.com/biography/, which made me think that this business designed their website and did public relations work for them. The user denied this, but did admit to being a member of the band. You can see the whole discussion on their English user talk page.

They have been blocked on English Wikipedia for using a corporate username, but I wasn't sure if the rules here are the same. I tried to file a report at Wikipedia:Segnalazioni NUI like you suggested, but I don't appear to have permission to edit that page. Regardless, the user has an obvious conflict of interest if they are writing about their own band. --Drm310 🍁 (msg) 17:04, 14 set 2017 (CEST)
