Kamāl al-Dīn al-Fārisī (in persiano کمال‌الدین فارسی‎; Tabriz, 1265 – 12 gennaio 1318) è stato un astronomo, fisico e matematico persiano.

Kamāl al-Dīn Ḥasan ibn ʿAlī ibn Ḥasan al-Fārisī[1][2][3] o Abū Ḥasan Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan.[2][4] morto secondo alcune fonti nel 1319 o 1320[5]) è stato uno scienziato musulmano persiano[6][7] che assicurò rilevanti contributi scientifici all'astronomia, alla scienza dell'Ottica e a quella della matematica (teoria dei numeri). al-Fārisī fu allievo dell'astronomo e matematico Qutb al-Din al-Shirazi, a sua volta discepolo di Naṣīr al-Dīn Ṭūsī.

Secondo l'Encyclopædia Iranica, Kamāl al-Dīn fu il principale studioso persiano di Ottica.[8]
