Chester è un inno patriottico composto da William Billings, divenuto celebre durante la guerra d'indipendenza americana.

Billings trascrisse la prima versione della canzone nel suo libro del 1770, The New England Psalm Singer, e migliorò il testo nel suo The Singing Master's Assistant (1778).
