Wikimedia fundraising banner campaign moved by a week
Dear all,
A quick follow up from last week's post. We are moving the start date of the banners on the Italian Wikipedia to the 8th of March. The end date will remain the same (31st of March). This gives us more time to evaluate the ongoing situation in Europe.
In the meanwhile I can already share with you some examples of the banners we will be running. Please note that these are examples and banner texts will vary as we are always testing different messaging variations.
We are always looking for ways to improve our campaigns and appreciate your feedback regarding banner messages and design.
- If you have specific ideas to share, please feel invited to add them to the fundraising meta talk page.
- If you need to report a bug or technical issue, please create a phabricator ticket.
- If you see a donor on a talk page, VRT or social media having difficulties in donating, please refer them to donate(at)wikimedia.org

- [@ JBrungs (WMF)] Thank you for your work in keeping Wikipedia funded but the visual impact of these banners are hard to understand and accept, especially on mobile.
