During the 19th century, Müller undertook the ambitious task of collecting and preserving the surviving fragments of ancient Greek historical works that were otherwise lost or only partially preserved. These fragments come from a wide range of ancient Greek historians and authors who wrote on various historical events, figures, and periods. |

The FHG is a valuable resource for modern historians and classicists, as it provides insights into lost historical writings and helps reconstruct aspects of ancient Greek history that would have otherwise been lost to time. |
|||
It's worth noting that the collection includes not only complete fragments but also excerpts, citations, and references to the works of ancient historians found in other ancient texts. As a result, it serves as an important reference work for scholars trying to piece together the historical knowledge of antiquity. [https://lelaboffical.com/ Le labo] |

The work is essential for those interested in ancient Greek history and historiography and serves as an important supplement to the surviving complete works of historians like Herodotus, Thucydides, Xenophon, and others. |

Lingua originale | greco antico |
