I.e. a term from the English language. English is spoken by many countries and cultures throughout the world & many of them are not Anglo-Saxon. Moreover, it’s insulting to impose that term on people to whom it doesn’t belong (it’s wrong) & who would not and cannot identify as it. For example, I’m Welsh: Wales is a Celtic country, we speak Welsh & English now - due to colonization and history - but we remain Celts! In fact, it’s euphemistic and disguising the truth to say ‘it’s more accurate’ - actually: calling us Anglo-Saxon is simply incorrect and highly insulting (you’re removing our identities, cultures and histories). We are Celtic countries and populations and that should also be stated here, for clarity and respect. As well as to right this odd wrong of the Italian language.
