Il Nokia theatre è un teatro e luogo di concerti situato nel centro di Los Angeles, facente parte di un complesso più grande denominato L.A. Live che comprende altre strutture come, ad esempio, lo Staples Center.

La struttura, inaugurata 2007 con un concerto degli Eagles e dei The Dixie Chicks, ha da allora ospitato molti eventi come gli ESPY Awards e gli American Music Awards

Events

The Nokia Theatre has become the venue for multiple award shows since its opening. The theatre has hosted the ESPY Awards since 2008 as well as the American Music Awards since 2007. The venue has been the home to the Primetime Emmy Awards since 2008 and will continue to do so until at least 2018.[1] The Nokia Theatre hosted the MTV Video Music Awards in 2010 and 2011. In 2008 and 2011, the venue hosted The GRAMMY Nominations Live concert where the nominees for the Grammy Awards were announced. The Grammy Awards take place annually across the street at the Staples Center.

The BET Awards will move to the Nokia Theatre in 2013. [2]
