Il Dipartimento della Guerra degli Stati Uniti era un'articolazione del governo federale degli Stati Uniti che, tra il 1789 e il 1947, amministrava la difesa nazionale insieme al Dipartimento della Marina. Nel 1947, sotto la Presidenza Truman, il Dipartimento della Guerra fu sostituito dall'attuale Dipartimento della Difesa, che incorporò anche il Dipartimento della Marina.
