Remarks
[modifica wikitesto]Hi Alex, first of all, thank for your work and the help you're giving us to make WLM also in Italy. Now some remarks:
- It's really necessary to have such long names for templates (e.g. "Testa della tabella monumenti provincia di Bolzano"), in particular, it is necessary to indicate that are templates for the province of Bolzano? I mean, we will create other similar templates for WLM but I don't think we need a set of template for each province in Italy...
- We use a lot of English in our templates, cfr: {{prettytable}}, {{editnotice}} ;-), and I think that "Header" and "Footer" are more used than "Testa(ta)" and "Piede". ("Riga" is ok, though).
- About the fields in the template, my suggestions:
- ID dell'oggetto -> ID oggetto (or simply ID)
- Commonscat -> Categoria Commons
- I don't have very clear the difference between "Denominazione" and "Denominazione visualizzata" and the other alike.
- Ordinamento indirizzo, not much clear to me (as above)
- Grado di latitudine -> latitudine
- Grado di longitudine -> longitudine
- Region-ISO -> Codice ISO regione
- Particella edificiale, I'm not sure this is correct but I think a better translation is "particella catastale"
- Dato della registrazione -> Data
- Decreto della registrazione, not very clear to me
- Annotazione -> Note (or Annotazioni, if you prefer)
Thanks again. -- CristianCantoro - Cieli azzurri! (msg) 00:40, 17 mag 2012 (CEST)

- I guess a shorter name shouldn't be a problem at all. And you certainly won't need a set of templates for each Italian province, but as explained on the mailing list, in this case we do need a specific South Tyrolean set in order to avoid a mess with the IDs on Commons. And you really should create a specific set each time you find official IDs for a certain area. The "homemade" IDs from WMI should really be the last option. Alex has already agreed to create the "national" set of templates, where you can use those, he just wanted to get some feedback first.
- The Italian translation was my "fault", I wasn't sure at all, that's why I wanted some feedback, too :-)
- Regarding the difference between x and x visualizzato/a: In general, the main fields of the templates should be filled without using wiki syntax in order to avoid that we'll find in the database "monument names" like [[Trostburg]] with square brackets. Please have a look at the example Trostburg in the list. Here we have two options to create a link to the article Castel Trostburg: a) by simply filling the field Voce, but that would cause an output, where the whole phrase Torstburg con pertinenze gets linked, b) by regulating the output using wiki syntax through the field Denominazione visualizzata, where I get Trostburg con pertinenze. The same discourse is valid for the other fields visualizzati, they should be used for linking.
- Regarding the particelle: I don't know, if this is a South Tyrol-specific feature, but particelle catastali are divided into two classes, i.e. particelle edificiali and fondiarie.
- Regarding Decreto della registrazione: By what decree became this building a class listed monument.

@CristianCantoro: I updated the template with your translations, thanks for your review! The main reason for having both an Southtyrolian and an Italian Templateset is the ID-thing. If we'd use the same templates there would be no possiblity to crossuse lists, photos, database, tools,... from de.wp, it.wp, commons etc. Another feature: Alto Adige is offering the "Monumentenbrowser", so we can easily link to the single object... Just a suggestion. I think it is better that the monument ID can be easily copied&pasted to the upload form, so I suggest to separate the link, something like "ID:
17955
[weblink&id=17955 info]". And, I am curious about the parameters in the header template "Comune" and "Codice ISTAT". What is its purpouse? --Vriullop (msg) 16:10, 20 mag 2012 (CEST)
- They enable us to get these statistics. As you can see the name of the comune needs just to be mentioned once in the list: in the header. The codice ISTAT is an official ID of a municipalitiy. --Mai-Sachme (msg) 09:00, 21 mag 2012 (CEST)
- Yes, the two fields in the header are harvested for every item on the list, so in every object-dataset on the Monuments database there is an municipalitiy stored. ie: all objects in de... Greets --AleXXw (msg) 09:50, 21 mag 2012 (CEST)
- Thanks. So it should be updated at commons:Commons:Wiki Loves Monuments 2011/Monuments database for table "it-bz (de)" as the municipality is not actually fetched from "Katastralgemeinde" of the raw template. --Vriullop (msg) 10:12, 21 mag 2012 (CEST)
- True, thanks for the hint ;) -> done. Greets --AleXXw (msg) 10:28, 21 mag 2012 (CEST)
