Dear Sirs,

In order to contribute to your project "to draw the attention of both the public (...) to the vulnerability of island floras in the Mediterranean, and call for urgent conservation measures" the staff of the italian wikipedia (that, as you probably know, is a multilingual web-based no-profit free-content encyclopedia, written collaboratively by volunteers) is planning to develope articles on all the fifty selected botanical species.

(to see what we have already be done and what remains to do please have a look here
http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utente:Esculapio/Sandbox/Top_50_Campaign )

I wrote you to ask your written permission in order to use some of the pictures pubblished on the Top 50 Plants Campaign website.

Fore more information about wikipedia policy on use of images, please see:

I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
Have a nice time
