Uwais Khan ibn Sher Ali conosciuto anche come Sultan Vais Khan. É stato Moghul Khan di Mughalistan dapprima dal 1418 al 1421 E. V. e poi, di nuovo dal 1425 al 1429 E. V. . Era nipote di Sher Muhammad. In inglese, il suo nome era stato spesso tradotto come Awais, Ofi o Vais.[1][2]
