Climate-ADAPT is a European Climate Adaptation Platform with the aim of sharing adaptation information across Europe. It was created thanks to a partnership between the European Commission and the European Environment Agency (EEA).
The platform is maintained by the EEA thanks the European Topic Centre on Climate Change Impacts, Vulnerability and Adaptation (ETC/CCA).
Climate-ADAPT wants to support European citizen in adapting to climate change. All the data and information are included into a database that contains quality checked information and they are organised in different entry points and topics.
Users have free access to data, information and different case studies on:
- Expected climate change
- Current and future vulnerability, divided by regions and sectors
- Adaptation strategies and actions, organised at EU, national and transnational level
- Adaptation case studies and potential adaptation options
- Tools that support adaptation planning
Climate-ADAPT is a knowledge base for a better decision making.
