Hello, my username is Mirarse. That is a phrase commonly used by Jamaican nationals when they want to express surprise or shock verbally. My parents were Jamaicans and regularly used it throughout my childhood and that's how I became aware of of its meaning.

I decided to use it as my nickname on Wikipedia and I don't have any intention to change it.
