Nikhil Kamath is an Indian entrepreneur and investor. [1] Together with his brother Nithin Kamath he co-founded a discount brokerage firm - Zerodha. [2]

In 2020, together with his brother, Nikhil was included in Forbe's list of the 100 richest in India. [3] [4]

Kamath è nato il 5 settembre 1986, nello stato del Karnataka, da Raghuram Kamath e Revathy.[5] All'età di 16 anni, ha abbandonato la scuola e ha avuto una carriera di scacchi di 4 anni, giocando per l'India.[6]

Kamath ha iniziato la sua carriera in una società di outsourcing di processi aziendali. Successivamente, ha co-fondato Kamath Associates all'età di 19 anni per gestire portafogli individuali nello spazio del mercato pubblico, prima di fondare Zerodha con suo fratello Nithin nel 2010.[7]

Nell'agosto 2019, Nikhil ha co-fondato True Beacon per portare la sua esperienza nella gestione di fondi a un gruppo globale di investitori.[8]

Nel 2019, Kamath ha sposato Amanda Purvankar a Firenze.[9]
