Hollywood Boulveard è una famosa strada situata nel quartiere di Hollywood a Los Angeles. La strada ebbe il nome di Prospect Avenue da 1887 fino al 1910, quando la città di Hollywood venne annessa a Los Angeles.

Nel 1958 fu creata la Hollywood Walk of Fame per rendere tributo ai più famosi artisti dell'industria dell'intrattenimento

In 1958, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which runs from Gower Street to La Brea Avenue (and an additional three blocks on Vine Street), was created as a tribute to artists working in the entertainment industry.

The Hollywood extension of the Metro Red Line subway was opened in June 1999. Running from Downtown to the Valley, it has stops on Hollywood Boulevard at Western Avenue, at Vine Street and at Highland Avenue. Metro Local lines 180, 181 and 217 and Metro Rapid line 780 serve Hollywood Boulevard. An anti-cruising ordinance prohibits driving on parts of the boulevard more than twice in four hours.
