English: Cast copper alloy composite single loop folding strap clasp with a separate spindle and a sheet plate that is looped around the frame and still retains the leather strap between the two plates. The plates and strap are riveted together by a single central rivet at the opposite end to the frame. The strap bar is narrowed and offset and the frame then expands and tapers again towards the spindle. There is a sheet closure plate which is looped around the spindle and rotates to partly cover the aperture within the frame. The terminal of the closure plate has two oblong knops that are defined by pairs of triangular grooves, but there is no incised decoration on the upper surface or on the main plate.

The plate is 39 mm long, 16 mm wide and 4 mm thick with the strap intact, and the frame is 22 mm long, 21 mm wide and 5 mm thick, and the closure plate is 15 mm long, 17 mm wide and 1 mm thick.
