Diagram of the Fénykövi elephant with its measurements provided by José Fénykövi to assist the Smithsonian taxidermists in the mounting of the specimen. Photo states that the measurements sworn to before president of the Angola Game Comm. and legalized by the U.S. Consul in Luanda. When it was unveiled in 1959 at the Museum of Natural History, it was the largest land mammal exhibited in a museum
