English: Steps and pulpit of the refectory (dining room) of the Cistercian Monastery of Santa María de Huerta located in the village of Santa María de Huerta, province of Soria, Castille and León, Spain. The first stone of the building was laid by the king Alfonso VII of Castile in 1179 and the building underwent an expansion in the 16th century thank to the help of the kings Charles I and Philip II. The refectory, built in 1215, is the jewel of the monastery and one of the best examples in Europe. The pulpit was used by a monk for reading during dinner time.
Español: Peldaños y púlpito del refectorio (comedor) del monasterio cisterciense de Santa María de Huerta, situado en la localidad de Santa María de Huerta, provincia de Soria, Castilla y León, España. La primera piedra del monasterio la colocó el rey Alfonso VII de León en 1179, y fue ampliado en el siglo XVI gracias a la ayuda de los reyes Carlos I y Felipe II. El refectorio, construido en 1215, es la joya del monasterio y uno de los mejores ejemplos de Europa. El púlpito lo utilizaba un monje para la lectura durante las horas de comida.
Français : La chaire et l'escalier d'accès du réfectoire du monastère cistercien de Santa María de Huerta, situé dans la commune de Santa María de Huerta dans la province de Soria en Castille-et-León (Espagne). La première pierre du monastère a été posée en 1179 par Alphonse VII et le monastère fut agrandi au XVIe siècle par Charles Quint et Philippe II. Le réfectoire, construit en 1215, est le joyau du monastère et l'un des plus beaux exemples en Europe. La chaire étaient utilisée par les moines pour les lectures durant les repas qui se prenaient en silence.

Klasztor znajduje się w gminie Santa María de Huerta, w prowincji Soria, w hiszpańskiej wspólnocie autonomicznej Kastylia i León. Kamień węgielny wmurował w 1179 roku król Alfons VII Imperator, a w XVI wieku klasztor został rozbudowany dzięki wsparciu królów Karola V Habsburga i jego syna, Filipa II Habsburga. Zbudowany w 1215 roku refektarz jest perełką klasztoru i jednym z najlepszych przykładów tego typu pomieszczeń w Europie. Ambona była używana przez mnichów do odczytywania ksiąg podczas posiłków.
