| Descrizione |
English: 1979 AMC Spirit AMX, a subcompact lift back car built by American Motors Corporation (AMC). This one has been updated with AMC's AMC's 401 cubic inch (6.6 L) 4-barrel V8 engine with automatic transmission. It has been customized for racing and is named “Burnin' Rubber” - homage it its abilities to smoke its rear tires! The car's black exterior features flame paint work from the grille to half way up the hood and down the front fenders. The AMX was the name of the 1968 to 1970 two-seater GT-type muscle cars built by AMC. It was used again on the top performance models in the AMC Spirit subcompact line for the 1979 and 1980 model years. Picture taken during the during the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) annual convention that was held July 2015 near Cleveland, Ohio. |
