Pro-dj, electronic performer and management researcher, he started experimenting with music and production techniques from a very young age. From listening to progressive house to programming sequencers and synthesizers. This led to his early works as producer and remixer, to playing live across several venues and also writing music for fashion shows.

Fully involved into the acid house revolution. He started going out to clubs at a very young age and immersed himself in the dance music scene, influenced by the Daft Punk's style, he soon found a wonderful love in house music.

Pioneer of the electronica scene around his city, he began playing his debut live DJ gigs with 4 elements (2 decks plus laptop and groovebox) at clubs across the "Riviera Romagnola" in 2000. Around 2002 Nikkei started to play out as DJ Nikkei in the various clubs and parties of his city; he was now beginning to become an in demand DJ and building up a following.

His main research interests are in marketing strategy, innovation management, music business, media distribution and IPR. He is currently researching in the innovation management field dealing with rivalry between publishing and patenting activities.
