Gōzō Yoshimasu a Londra nel 2013

Gōzō Yoshimasu (吉増 剛造?, Yoshimasu Gōzō; Tokyo, 22 febbraio 1939) è un poeta, fotografo e artista giapponese.

Ha ricevuto il Premio Mainichi Arte per la sua poesia nel 2009, il premio Rekitei, il Purple Ribbon Medal nel 2003 (attribuito dal governo giapponese) e l'Ordine del Sole nascente nel 2013.

Tra le sue maggiori influenze vanno citati Shinobu Orikuchi, Paul Klee, Vincent van Gogh, Paul Cézanne, William Blake, John Cage, Patrick Chamoiseau. Molte delle sue poesie sono plurilingui, mescolano elementi di francese, inglese, cinese, coreano, gaelico e altre lingue, e presentano giochi di parole interlinguistici e tipografici. Le sue performance spesso includono film, oggetti apotropaici, canti, rituali, e collaborazioni con musicisti e altri artisti.
