Tracks of My Years è il dodicesimo album in studio del cantautore canadese Bryan Adams, pubblicato nel 2014. Questo album viene realizzato sei anni e mezzo dopo il precedente lavoro in studio di Adams, 11.[2][3][4]

Il disco è una raccolta di cover di alcune delle canzoni preferite dal cantante canadese degli anni '50, '60 e '70. La track list dispone di 10 cover, tra cui Lay Lady Lay di Bob Dylan, I Can't Stop Loving You di Ray Charles, Any Time At All dei The Beatles e God Only Knows dei The Beach Boys per citarne alcune. L'album include anche una canzone originale scritta da Adams e Jim Vallance, She Knows Me come primo singolo dell'album.[5][6][7]

La versione deluxe dell'album dispone di 5 brani aggiuntivi: le cover C'mon Everybody di Eddie Cochran, Help Me Make It Through the Night di Kris Kristofferson, Many Rivers to Cross di Jimmy Cliff e You Shook Me di Willie Dixon, più una canzone di Adams You've Been a Friend to Me, del 2009 e colonna sonora del film Old Dogs con John Travolta e Robin Williams.[8] A ridosso dell'uscita dell'album, Bryan Adams ha rilasciato un comunicato :

We recorded all kinds of songs until the songs sort of presented themselves, or sounded different enough from the originals.” “We did about three months of recording, spread out over the course of two years. Radio was king when I was a teenager," Adams reflected, "You'd hear McCartney's ‘Admiral Halsey’ straight into ‘Kiss and Say Goodbye’ by the Manhattans. Radio didn't discriminate back then."»

In una intervista pubblicata dal quotidiano canadese The Globe and Mail, Adams ha dichiarato :

«"Se dovessi registrare le canzoni che sono state le influenze reali della mia vita, sarei per la registrazione di un sacco di musica hard rock del 1970"......."La maggior parte di quelle canzoni sono intoccabili.Ci sono molte ragioni per cui ho voluto comprare una chitarra una di loro era l'album "Machine Head" dei Deep Purple.".............. Egli procede a snocciolare un elenco dei suoi album influenti, tra cui album di artisti del calibro dei Led Zeppelin con "Led Zeppelin II" , "Performance Rockin' the Fillmore" dei Humble Pie, "Mad Dogs & Englishmen" di Joe Cocker, "Who Next" dei The Who, "Killer" di Alice Cooper e "Master of Reality" dei Black Sabbath.»
