The Lodge holds an 76% approval rating on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, based on 91 reviews, with a weighted average of 7.22/10. The site's consensus reads: "Led by an impressive Riley Keough performance, The Lodge should prove a suitably unsettling destination for fans of darkly atmospheric horror".[8] On Metacritic, the film holds a rating of 64 out of 100, based on 24 critics, indicating "generally favorable reviews".[9]
