La Topsport Vlaanderen-Baloise (codice UCI: TSV), nota in precedenza come Vlaanderen 2002 e Chocolade Jacques, è una squadra maschile belga di ciclismo su strada. Ha licenza di Professional Continental Team, che le consente di partecipare alle gare del Circuiti continentali UCI e di poter usufruire di wild-card per le gare del calendario mondiale UCI.

Fondata nel 1994 con il nome Vlaanderen 2002 sotto il patrocinio della regione fiamminga, riceve tuttora gran parte dei finanziamenti dal governo delle Fiandre. L'attuale sponsor secondario è l'istituto di assicurazioni Mercator; in passato altri sponsor sono stati la Chocolade Jacques, marchio dell'industria di cioccolato Callebaut, e T Interim, azienda di lavoro interinale.

La Eddy Merckx, fabbrica dell'omonimo ex ciclista (il "padrino" della squadra), da sempre fornisce le biciclette al team.

Classifiche UCI [modifica]

Fino al 1998, le squadre ciclistiche erano classificate dall'UCI in un'unica divisione. Nel 1999 la classifica a squadre venne divisa in prima, seconda e terza categoria (GSI, GSII e GSIII), mentre i corridori rimasero in classifica unica.[1] Nel 2005 fu introdotto l'UCI ProTour[2] e, parallelamente, i Circuiti continentali UCI;[1] dal 2009 le gare del circuito ProTour sono state integrate nel Calendario mondiale UCI, poi divenuto UCI World Tour.
