The Black Light Bacchanalia è il dodicesimo album della band heavy metal Virgin Steele, pubblicato durante il mese di ottobre 2010 dall'etichetta discografica SPV/Steamhammer.

L'album è edito in tre versioni:

• CD tradizionale
• Digipack doppio CD (con l'aggiunta di un secondo CD contenente due canzoni inedite e la storia della band, della durata di 30 minuti, narrata da David DeFeis)
• Cofanetto in edizione limitata a 3000 copie (contenente l'album sia in CD che in triplice vinile, poster, adesivi ed il libro di 12 pagine sulla storia della band scritto da David DeFeis)

Contenuto

L'album segue a livello di testi il concept del precedente lavoro Visions of Eden (The Lilith Project - A Barbaric Romantic Movie of the Mind) riarrangiandone i contenuti in un contesto meno oscuro e più melodico/d'atmosfera.
