Spike Jonze
Spike Jonze, nome d'arte di Adam Spiegel (Rockville, 22 ottobre 1969), è un regista, sceneggiatore, attore e produttore cinematografico statunitense, autore di film, spot pubblicitari e videoclip musicali.

Jonze ha raggiunto il successo grazie alla commedia nera Essere John Malkovich (1999) e al film Il ladro di orchidee (2002), entrambi scritti con Charlie Kaufman. Oltre al cinema, Jonze è celebre anche per essere co-creatore e produttore della serie televisiva di MTV Jackass e di Jackass: The Movie.
È anche il co-fondatore e l'editore della rivista Dirt, così come è editore anche del Grand Royal Magazine. Spike in passato ha girato dei video di skateboarding, soprattutto il video per la Blind Skateboards Video Days nel 1991, ed è co-proprietario della Girl Skateboards.
In alcune occasioni ha usato lo pseudonimo Richard Coufey (o Koufey, o Couffe).
Nell'autunno 2009 è uscito Nel paese delle creature selvagge, il suo terzo lungometraggio. La colonna sonora è firmata dalla cantante del gruppo indie rock statunitense Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Karen O.

Il 26 giugno 1999 Jonze sposò la regista Sofia Coppola, figlia d'arte di Francis Ford Coppola. Il 5 dicembre 2003 la coppia ha divorziato. Successivamente ha avuto un relazione con la cantante degli Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Karen O.
Dal luglio 2008 al settembre 2009 Jonze è stato legato all'attrice Michelle Williams.[1]
