Patsy Cline, nata Virginia Patterson Hensley (Winchester, 8 settembre 1932 – Camden, 5 marzo 1963), è stata una cantante e compositrice statunitense. Morta a trent'anni in un incidente aereo nel 1963, all'apogeo della sua carriera, è ancora considerata una delle più rinomate cantanti dello stile country. Con il timbro ricco ed espressivo della sua voce da contralto, è stata la fonte d'ispirazione per cantanti di ogni genere musicale, così come la sua vita è stata oggetto di libri, film, documentari e recite teatrali. È stata la prima cantante a essere accolta, nel 1973, al Country Music Hall of Fame.
