Jewel (nome d'arte di Jewel Kilcher[1]) (Payson, 23 maggio 1974) è una cantautrice, attrice e poetessa statunitense. Ha ricevuto tre nominations ai Grammy Award. Il suo album di debutto, Pieces of You è diventato uno degli album di debutto più venduto di tutti i tempi, disco di platino per dodici volte.

Jewel è nata a Payson nello Utah, ma ha vissuto la maggior parte della sua gioventù in Alaska. È figlia di Atz Kilcher e Lenedra Caroll. Q'Orianka Kilcher è sua cugina.

Jewel appare nel film di Ang Lee del 1999, Cavalcando con il diavolo (Ride with the Devil) ed interpreta se stessa nel film Walk Hard: La storia di Dewey Cox. Appare anche nel telefilm "MEN IN TREES" episodio numero 9 "PRIMO CAPITOLO" nel ruolo di se stessa. Ha partecipato, nel ruolo di se stessa come cantante, nella serie tv "Las Vegas" nel 1° episodio della 4° stagione.
