Ibidorhyncha struthersii non ha sottospecie, è monotipico.
[modifica] Distribuzione e habitat
Questo uccello vive nell'Asia centrale e orientale. In particolare lo si osserva in Cina (Tibet e Xinjiang soprattutto), India, Nepal, Bhutan, Russia meridionale, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan e Myanmar.
