Hangar 18 è un gruppo hip hop statunitense formato da:

Gruppo dell'etichetta Def Jux, nato nell'underground newyorkese, che ha calcato palchi assieme ad artisti come Sadat X, Mos Def, Camp Lo, El-P e Company Flow, Talib Kweli, Murs, Aesop Rock, Aceyalone, Pep Love, Mr. Lif, Akrobatik, SA Smash, The Juggaknots, Soul Position e Atmosphere.
Gli Hangar 18 fanno parte del collettivo Atoms Family, formato anche dai Cannibal Ox, Cryptic, CipOne e Jestoneart, e con il quale ha condiviso numerose compilation ed pubblicazioni a livello underground.
All'iniziale formazione con Alaska e Windnbreez, nel 2002 si aggiunge il produttore paWl, nel 2003 il gruppo pubblica Where We At, singolo seguito dall'EP The Shameless Self Promotion EP. L'anno seguente esce il singolo Beatslope: The Remix Of The Remix Single ed il primo vero e proprio album The Multi Platinum Debut Album, a cui fa seguito nel 2005 The Donkey Show Vol.1.
