Back to Bedlam è l'album di debutto del cantante inglese James Blunt, pubblicato nel 2004. Tutti i testi delle canzoni sono stati scritti da James Blunt, tranne "Out of My Mind", in cui Blunt ha scritto anche la musica. Ad oggi l'album ha venduto circa 14 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo. L'album è entrato anche nel guiness dei primati come album ad aver venduto più copie in un solo anno nel Regno Unito, con 2 368 000 copie nel 2005.[1] Tuttavia l'album è anche considerato il più brutto dell'anno secondo la rivista NME.[2]

Il cantante vi riassume i momenti più significativi della sua vita, dalle sue esperienze amorose di una ragazza che non potrà avere ma che non vuole smettere di inseguire, a una scomparsa a cui dedica la più fantastica e personale Goodbye my lover, la morte dell'amico Billy in guerra in Kosovo, la stessa combattuta da Blunt come colonnello dell'esercito Britannico nel 1999.
