Achimun pinnara

Achimun pinnara (Ecco il sole del mattino), anche noto come Aegukka (Il canto patriottico, in Hangul 애국가, in Hanja 愛國歌) è l'inno nazionale della Corea del Nord. Il testo è stato scritto da Pak Seyŏng (1902-1989), mentre la musica è opera del compositore Kim Wŏn'gyun (1917-2002).

Origine dell'inno

Inizialmente Corea del Nord e Corea del Sud avevano lo stesso inno nazionale (intitolato Aegukga, che altro non è se non una diversa pronuncia di "Aegukka"). Nel 1945, appena la Corea ebbe ottenuto l'indipendenza dal Giappone, la Corea del Nord, separatasi da quella del Sud, adottò un nuovo inno per differenziarsi da quest'ultima.

Caso unico tra i canti patriottici nordcoreani, non contiene alcuna allusione né al Partito dei Lavoratori di Corea, né a Kim Il-sung, né a Kim Jong-il, ma bensì tesse le lodi della Corea del Nord nella sua interezza.
