Dopo quattro anni ai Rockets, nel febbraio 2011 passa ai Phoenix Suns in cambio di Goran Dragić e una futura prima scelta.

Caratteristiche tecniche

Buonissimo playmaker che oltre a essere un buon tiratore e saper far giocare i compagni, ha la capacità di fare parecchi punti, come ha dimostrato nella stagione 2009-2010 diventando il Most Improved Player dell'anno.
