Gli A Wilhelm Scream (abbreviato in AWS, Wilhelm o the Scream), precedentemente conosciuti come Smackin' Isaiah, sono un gruppo melodic hardcore punk di New Bedford (Massachusetts). Il nome è un riferimento al Wilhelm Scream, un famoso effetto sonoro utilizzato in molti film.
Recentemente la band è stata in studio al Blasting Room di Fort Collins, Colorado con il produttore di musica punk Bill Stevenson, ed ha registrato il nuovo album, disponibile online nei negozi da gennaio 2008. Il primo singolo singolo tratto dall'album è una demo di Five to Nine.
Gli A Wilhelm Scream hanno attualmente firmato un contratto con la Nitro Records.
